Offering AI Agents for Internal and Customer-facing Touchpoints as Solutions and Products to Strengthen Corporate Operations and Enhance Employee and Customer Experience (EX/CX)

PKSHA Technology Inc. (Head Office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: UENOYAMA katsuya; hereinafter "PKSHA") is accelerating the social implementation of AI by launching "PKSHA AI Agents"—autonomous AI systems capable of performing tasks proactively. PKSHA is enhancing the functions of these agents and expanding their applications across both its AI Solutions and AI SaaS businesses in a wide range of domains.

PKSHA has previously developed and provided diverse AI solutions and products that understand human language and support operational improvements. Over the past year, the company has upgraded these assets to function as more proactive and autonomous AI agents. The PKSHA Group is expanding its initiatives by sequentially adding AI agent capabilities to existing products—such as chatbots and voice bots—and by introducing AI agents in areas like human resources and sales, among others. Additional details will be announced progressively ahead of July 2025, when the company will transition to a new organizational system (※1).

Currently, over 7,000 AI agents (in the product category) are operating across all 47 prefectures in Japan, positioning PKSHA as the leading domestic AI Agent provider (※2). The new PKSHA AI Agents service is intended to accelerate this expansion.

New Service: PKSHA AI Agents – Launch Background:Enabling the Customized Provision of AI Agents, a Core Element of DX, for Individual Companies.

With the rapid evolution of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI in recent years, autonomous AI agents capable of autonomously executing complex tasks are becoming increasingly prevalent. An AI agent represents a significant advancement over conventional AI and demonstrates higher autonomy and problem-solving abilities. Beyond merely answering questions, it understands a user's goals and context, coordinates multiple tasks, and acts autonomously to address highly complex demands. These agents can function as dedicated aides, supporting scheduling, information retrieval, and task execution. This growing expectations around AI Agents is due to the increasing societal recognition that AI is a critical technology for drastically improving the productivity of individuals and corporations.

PKSHA has been deploying AI Solutions and AI SaaS focused on natural language processing technology to enable communication with people across various domains. As of March 2025, these services are used by more than 70% of the top 100 Japanese companies by market capitalization.
